Julie Cook
Those of you searching for pain relief and management may likely benefit from this message. My name is Julie Cook. I was drawn here by family and I am grateful for this shift in my life. My qualifications are as a certified IAYT(International Association of Yoga Therapists) in addition to a 500hr yoga certification as a teacher. I was fortunate enough to also have childhood exposure to Kripalu Yoga with my mother as a practitioner and teacher to me from her studies during the 70/80s time frame. My father also studied/practiced Martial Arts and Kundalini Yoga.
While Modern Yoga Therapy may register as a new modality here in North America, it has been around for over a hundred and fifty years in almost every other corner of the planet. Yoga Therapy is traditionally dated back to the Second Century CE.
My Yoga Therapy training has deeply enhanced my experience and knowledge of Body Mechanics and simple movement vs asana. Witnessing the current shift that is taking place as Allopathic (Western) Medicine welcomes us into the folds has been a game changer for me. I am very excited about this growth and forward movement in healthcare. 2025 and the coming years will present support in a much needed gap for patients(I prefer the word ‘clients’ for their own empowerment).
AS a C-IAYT, I am grateful for the welcoming of our much needed modality within the total client experience.
Those of you searching for pain relief and management may likely benefit from this message. My n... Read More

Certified Athletic Therapist - CAT(C)
Hey there — I’m Andrea, a possibility-thinker. With over 11 years of experience in rehabilitation and movement-based health care, I help people living with persistent (chronic) pain feel more confident in their bodies and more connected to their lives.
My approach combines neuroscience, compassion, and clear communication. I work with you to understand what’s happening in your brain and body, so you can become the expert in your own recovery.
My Specialty & Approach
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS): Developmental movement training that helps your brain find natural, instinctive movement patterns for better strength and ease.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT for Chronic Pain): Tools that help you move toward what really matters to you, even with difficult thoughts or emotions.
Trauma-Informed Care: A safe, consent-led approach focused on building trust, especially for those with past trauma or medical distress.
Precision Nutrition (Level 1): We look at the whole picture which includes nutrition, sleep, stress, environment, and mindset to create habits that build real, lasting change.
Holistic Health Philosophy
I recognize the wholistic and integrative character of health, meaning your physical comfort is deeply connected to your emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. What I love most is seeing people transform their mindset, identity, and confidence as they integrate new ways of seeing what’s possible for themselves.
Commitment to Safe Care
My approach is grounded in self-compassion, curiosity, and listening.
My practice is guided by cultural humility, which is a life-long commitment to examining my own beliefs and privilege.
I strive to provide a culturally safe environment that you define as respectful, safe, and allows for meaningful communication. I am actively anti-racist in my commitment to eliminating unfair practices.
Programs
I also offer a Pain Education series called Reframe Chronic Pain , an online education series to help you understand pain and build tools to manage it.

(She/Her/Hers)
I am a Canadian Armed Forces veteran and recently retired from a long career as a Public Relations practitioner. Health and wellness has been a lifelong passion both as a competitive athlete and then as a fitness instructor. Through my own midlife transition, I began to recognize a significant lack of credible and reliable information and available resources to support and educate women through perimenopause.
Determined to debunk mistruths and misinformation around hormone health and women’s fitness, I pursued a certification as a Menopause Doula (Health Support Practitioner) through the Doula Training Centre, Toronto. Since completing my client practicum, I went on to further my studies as a Licensed Menopause Educator through Menopause Expert Group (MEG), and pursued additional qualifications, including Menopause 2.0 with Dr. Stacy Sims, Brain Health for Menopause with Dr. Fiona Lovely, and a Women’s Coaching Specialist Certification through Girls Gone Strong, the world’s leading female fitness training program for coaches.
I’m certified to teach multiple fitness formats and hold a RYT 200 yoga instructor certification, currently working toward my RYT 500. This training forms a core part of my approach, allowing me to design coaching programs that support and empower women through the transformative midlife transition with strength, clarity, and purpose.
My mission is to help clients rise from the noise and limiting beliefs surrounding hormone changes and unapologetically step into the next chapter, rooted in wisdom.

Marley will be joining the team in August!
Marley grew up in Whistler with a passion for the outdoors. His early love for skiing naturally extended to other sports offered by the region, including mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and surfing in Tofino. Like many young athletes, Marley faced multiple bike/ski-related injuries, leading to frustration with chronic shoulder pain and immobility.
To pursue his interest in sports and rehabilitation, Marley moved to Vancouver and earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He furthered his studies by obtaining his certification in Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) in Phoenix, Arizona under the guidance of FST founders Ann and Chris Frederick. Marley continued his education with a four year Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (D.O.M.P.) from the Canadian School of Osteopathy, where he explored the complex biomechanics and interconnections of the body. Driven by a passion for helping others return to their athletic pursuits, Marley combines corrective osteopathic techniques with fascial stretching to enhance mobility, stabilize joints, and alleviate chronic pain.

Life can be chaotic and full of unexpected change! Many clients are unaware that their nervous system is overwhelmed and unregulated, which can cause symptoms such as fatigue, poor sleep, hyper-vigilance and anxiety. As a somatic (body-informed) therapist, I understand how the body can hold emotions, trauma or defensiveness, which can change how people function and show up in the world. As a result, you may feel angry, stressed out, distracted or ambivalent. My work as a Firefighter and Paramedic for over 10 years, allowed me to experience and observe how highly adaptable the human body is at processing traumatic events.
I specialize in helping improve nervous system functioning, which may differ from traditional talk therapy. I prefer to spend time identifying the problem and the client’s goals, followed by generating a road map to restore balance for recovery. The sessions are guided by the client interests and commitment, which including evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy and Somatic Therapy.
I am compassionate for each person’s unique strengths and appreciate collaborating to support clients with managing life’s stressors. If you need guidance because trauma or crises are affecting your life, I would be honored to work with you. I support adolescents, adults, couples and families, with a passion for supporting first responders and military.
